The PCIM (=Power Conversion Intelligent Motion) is the leading meeting-point for experts out of the areas Power Electronics and its applications, Intelligent Motion and Power Quality. Since over 15 years PCIM Exhibition and Conference is located in Nuremberg, Germany in the exhibition centre. | January 2010: trafomodern successful in the economic crisis |
| At the presentation of the semi-annual report Christoph Blum, managing director of trafomodern, says that trafomodern has managed the economic crisis very well so far. The sales revenue dropped by 8% compared to the previous year. The reason for this sales success is the customer structure which is well diversified and not solely dependent on the automotive and industry business. For the last months of the fiscal year Blum aims to break the previous sales result. |

| Bei Vorlage des Halbjahresberichts stellt Christoph Blum, Geschäftsführer der trafomodern fest, dass trafomodern vergleichsweise gut durch die Wirtschaftskrise kommt. So sank der Umsatz im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum lediglich um etwa 8%. Blum führt den guten Umsatz auf die gute diversifizierte Kundenstruktur zurück, die nicht ausschliesslich von Automobil- oder Industriegeschäft abhängt. Ziel soll es laut Blum sein, den Vorjahresumsatz zu erreichen. |

 | trafomodern was an exhibitor on the above mentioned fair in hall 1. As usual we were visited by many partners and customers (long-standing customers as well as potential customers). With a good glass of Burgenland red wine we had interesting discussions round about the trafomodern product portfolio. SPS/IPC/DRIVES is the exhibition for electric automation technology. It covers all components down to the system and offers herewith integrated automation solutions. 70% of the last years' visitors were categorised as construction/development, production and executive management. Dabei kam es bei einem guten Glas burgenländischer Rotwein zu interessanten Fachdiskussionen rund um das trafomodern Produktportfolio. Die SPS/IPC/DRIVES ist die namhafteste deutsche Messe für elektrische Automatisierungstechnik. Sie umfasst alle Komponenten bis hin zum System und bietet damit integrierte Automatisierungslösungen. Zielgruppe der Aussteller sind die entscheidungskompetenten Fachbesucher, von denen in den vergangenen Jahren rund 70% aus den Bereichen Geschäftsleitung, Konstruktion/Entwicklung und Produktion kamen. | 14.12.09: trafomodern wird von DNV rezertifiziert |
| Am 14. Dezember 2009 wurde trafomodern von unserem Zertifizierungspartner DNV auditiert (EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001). Diesmal war das Hauptaugenmerk auf der Rezertifizierung des Zertifikats, das im Jahr 2008 neu ausgestellt worden war. Besonderes Augenmerk wurde dabei auf die Auftragsabwicklung, die Einkaufs- und Produktionsprozesse gelegt, sowie die unterstützenden Prozesse Arbeitssicherheit. Das Audit wurde ohne bemerkenswerte Probleme bestanden. Das nächste Audit wird im Dezember 2010 stattfinden. |
| Dec. 14th, 2009: trafomodern recertified by DNV |
On december, 14th, trafomodern was recertified by our partner-institute DNV (EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001). This time the main focus was to recertify the 3-years-certificate whichz was issued last year. The auditors put a main focus on the processes in purchasing, production, order processing and safety of staff. The audit was passed without any significant problems. The next audit will be end of 2010.

| Oct., 13th, 2009: trafomodern again to be awarded by „Wirtschaftsblatt” |
 | On Oct. 13th, 2009, trafomodern was again awarded by Wirtschaftsblatt in a ceremonial event in the "orangerie" of the castle Eisenstadt. "Wirtschaftsblatt" is the only Austrian economic daily-newspaper. "Wirtschaftsblatt" ranked the companies in cooperation with the auditing company "PriceWaterhouseCoopers" and the consumerism company KSV 1870. trafomodern was awarded in its category "the Golden Mid-size-companies" (turnover from 10 Mio € up to 50 Mio €) to be the second best company among approximately 400 companies. trafomodern was awarded for ist financial stability. It was the first time that also soft facts like aspects of sustainability were implemented in the assessment.

| 13. Oktober 2009: trafomodern wiederholt vom „Wirtschaftsblatt“ ausgezeichnet |
| In einer feierlichen Veranstaltung in der Orangerie des Schlosses Eisenstadt wurde trafomodern am 13. Oktober 2009 wieder vom Wirtschaftsblatt ausgezeichnet. Das Wirtschaftsblatt ist die einzige in Österreich erscheinende Wirtschafts-Tageszeitung, die die einreichenden Unternehmen in Zusammenarbeit mit der Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft PriceWaterhouseCoopers und dem Kreditschutzverband KSV 1870 bewertet hat. trafomodern hat in seiner Kategorie "Der goldene Mittelbau" (Firmen zwischen 10 Mio € Umsatz und 50 Mio € Umsatz) den zweiten Platz unter insgesamt etwa 400 einreichenden Firmen erringen können. Besondere Beachtung fand hierbei die finanzielle Stabilität von trafomodern. Erstmalig wurden auch weiche Faktoren wie Nachhaltigkeitsaspekte in die Bewertung mit einbezogen.
