Designed and tested according

  • IEC/EN 61558-2-2 / 2-4 / 2-6
  • EN 60079-0
  • EN 60079-7

For use according to

  • EU RL 94/9/EG

Typical applications

  • Control voltage circuit
  • Protective seperation
  • Functional low voltage
  • Safety low voltage

Basic equipment

  • Separate windings
  • Insulation class B
  • Ambient temperature –25 to 40 °C
  • Connection terminal
  • Frequency 50/60 Hz
  • ±5 % tapping on the primary side

Equipment marking

  • II 2 G EEx e II

CAD data

  • According to IEC/EN 61 558 transformers with rated outout voltages ≤ 50 V can be used as safety transformers.

When ordering, the following information must be added to the type designation:

STA0,1(*/*)
1st place holder ≙ rated input voltage
2nd place holder ≙ rated output voltage

Sample order

  • requested type STA0,1
  • requested rated input voltage 230 V
  • requested rated output voltage 36 V

The correct type designation reads STA0,1(230/36)

The unambiguous article number of your configuration will be defined by trafomodern during the offer- and process..
