We take the protection of personal data very seriously. Since the trust and satisfaction of our customers is our highest priority, personal data is collected only to the necessary extent and is never sold or passed on to third parties.
We would like to inform you about the data collected and stored by us as well as your rights to information (§ 26 of the DSG (Data Protection Act)), correction and deletion (§ 27 of the DSG) and objection (§ 28 of the DSG). We have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that the regulations on data protection are observed by us and by external third parties who are our service providers.
Security of your personal data
Personal data contains information about your identity. trafomodern and our IT service providers make every effort to ensure that the personal data you store on our servers is in a controlled and secured environment and is protected from unauthorised access, use or publication. Servers of our IT service provider are located within the EU (Germany). However, since no electronic data transmission is absolutely secure, we would like to point out that despite our stringent requirements, information that you transmit via the Internet can be used by others. Therefore, we cannot accept any responsibility or liability for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission and/or unauthorised access by third parties.
Use and disclosure of data
Naturally, trafomodern treats your data confidentially. Therefore, we do not make your data available to third parties as a rule. If you have given your approval by submitting a declaration of consent, we will also collect, store and process personal information for the purposes of individual information and support. Insofar as we are obliged to do so by law or by court order, we pass on your data only to state institutions and authorities entitled to receive information.
Integration of third party services and contents
It may happen that third party content, such as videos from YouTube, map material from OpenStreetMap, Google Maps, etc. as well as RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within this online offer. This always presupposes that the providers of these contents (hereinafter referred to as the “third-party providers”) are aware of the IP address of the users, because without the IP address, they would not be able to send the contents to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore necessary to display this content. We endeavour to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address only to deliver the content. However, we do not have any influence on this if the third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes. To the best of our knowledge, we inform the users about such cases.
Newsletter
With our newsletter, we inform you about latest developments. If you would like to receive the newsletter, we need your valid email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter – no further data is collected. This data will be used only for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we save your IP address and the date of registration. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via a link or by informing our team at marketing@trafomodern.com.
Google AnalyticsWe use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to allow an analysis of how you use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
